We also do beta clinic testing to get FDA approval for new procedures and can provide referrals to Mayo Clinic if needed.

Jennifer Sanneman, Aesthetics Specialist
With over three decades serving in the skincare industry, Jennifer Sanneman is known for her experience and meticulous attention to detail. As the founder and CEO of Essence Skin Clinic, Jennifer welcomes new and existing clients to this state-of-the-art Rochester, Minnesota, clinic.
Throughout her career, Jennifer has worked extensively in para-dermal science, aesthetics, emergency medical technician services, permanent cosmetics, and makeup arts. With a strong education in biochemistry and specialized certification as a laser practitioner, Jennifer maintains her place at the forefront of aesthetic solutions. She’s even rated in the top 2% in the nation for injection services by Allergan, the leading pharmaceutical company behind Botox® and Juvéderm®.
Jennifer helps clients achieve their optimal skin health and beauty goals by providing cutting-edge services that are tailored to each individual client. With her strong desire to elevate the standard for high-quality skincare products, Jennifer designed a line of premium products made from scientifically proven, all-natural ingredients. This allows her to personalize skincare packages for each client and counsel them on how to care for their skin between professional services.
In 2004, Jennifer was crowned Mrs. Minnesota United States, and then went on to be crowned Mrs. Minnesota International the following year. Because of her dedication to staying involved in her community, Jennifer served on the board of Prevent Child Abuse Minnesota. She was instrumental in working with the governor to officially declare the month of April as Child Abuse Prevention Month.
Outside of the clinic and community service opportunities, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband, David, and their six children and twelve grandchildren. Jennifer and her husband also serve as foster parents.

Dr. Houserman’s medical specialization is Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine with more than 31 years of experience. She graduated from University of Minnesota Medical School in 1992.
Kim Sullivan, Advanced Esthetician
Kimberly is a Licensed Advanced Esthetician dedicated to helping clients look and feel their best through personalized, results-driven care. She combines technical skill with a genuine passion for skin health and beauty, ensuring every client receives a thoughtful, customized experience.
Known for her warm personality and attention to detail, Kimberly values the relationships she builds and takes pride in guiding clients toward their long-term skincare and aesthetic goals. She lives in Rochester with her husband, dogs, and cats, and is currently pursuing her associate degree while continuing to grow in her career.
Kaylee Evans, Advanced Esthetician
Kaylee is a Licensed Advanced Esthetician who brings positivity, precision, and genuine care to every client she works with. Passionate about helping others feel confident and radiant, she takes pride in delivering personalized treatments that achieve real, lasting results.
Known for her calming presence and attention to detail, Kaylee loves connecting with clients and guiding them toward their long-term skincare and aesthetic goals. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend their dog and cat, and embracing life in Rochester while continuing to grow in her aesthetics career.
Elise Conway, Licensed Advanced Esthetician
Elise is a Licensed Advanced Esthetician whose passion for skincare and client care shines through in every service she provides. Originally from Chatfield, Minnesota, she now calls Rochester home, where she’s built a rewarding career doing what she loves most: helping clients feel confident, relaxed, and truly cared for.
Elise brings a thoughtful, attentive approach to every appointment and takes pride in creating a calm, welcoming experience. Her clients appreciate her warmth, attention to detail, and ability to make each visit feel personal.
Outside of work, Elise enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, watching movies, and hitting the slopes during the winter months. She feels grateful every day to be part of a profession that allows her to make others feel beautiful inside and out.
Kelly Dockter, Lead Office Manager & Patient Coordinator
Kelly’s love of people is obvious the moment you walk through the doors of Essence Skin Clinic & Med Spa. As our Lead Patient Coordinator, her warm, inviting smile may be one of the first things you see at our practice. Kelly loves making our clients feel comfortable and welcome. She appreciates that pursuing your options with your skin care needs can feel a bit intimating and overwhelming at first, and she loves being a part of making you feel at ease and excited about your journey!
Evalyn Ebling, Guest Services Assistant
Evalyn is the warm, friendly face that greets every guest at Essence Skin Clinic & Med Spa. As our Guest Services Assistant, she helps create a welcoming, organized, and positive experience for both clients and staff.
She’s currently attending school to become an Advanced Esthetician, pursuing her passion for skincare and beauty while gaining hands-on experience in the industry. Clients appreciate Evalyn’s kind nature and upbeat personality that brighten every visit.
Outside of work, Evalyn enjoys watching her boyfriend race, spending time with friends and family, and going up north during the summer. As the oldest of six siblings, she brings maturity, compassion, and a natural sense of leadership to everything she does.
David Sanneman, Director of Finance & Accounting
David Sanneman has been the director of finance and accounting at Essence Skin Clinic for over 28 years. His duties also include the application of computer and technical modalities to daily business practices. David is recognized as an expert in business management and has successfully consulted numerous businesses on improving their profitability and technology systems placements.
Ashley Sanneman, Part-Time & On-Call Office Manager
Ashley is our part-time and on-call office manager. She joined our team as a senior in high school, helping out the family business in the evenings and weekends. She graduated as a Dean’s Scholar, with a biology major and minor in health psychology. Ashley’s undergraduate research was in X-linked X-ist and its role in cancer prevention.
